GMcG has developed a new suite of presentations for NI Solicitor Associations covering a range of key Forensic Accounting and Tax updates. The new presentations, which can be considered for CPD, are being offered on the back of a very successful series of presentations delivered to NI Associations towards the end of 2015.
The firm’s Forensic Services and Tax consultants have extensive experience in working with and for the Northern Ireland legal sector and are widely acknowledged as leading providers of taxation and litigation support in the region. This experience, along with feedback from Associations from across Northern Ireland, has helped the firm develop a suite of topics that comprehensively covers developments and issues that are important and relevant to the Northern Ireland legal sector.
This year’s range of topics includes Accounts regulations and common breaches; How Forensic Accountants can make a difference; Digital Forensics; Mergers and Acquisitions; An Accountants guide to running your business; Key Tax Tips; Evolving issues in Personal Injury; Business valuations in matrimonial cases; Property transactions – Tax tips and traps; Estates and Inheritance Tax.
Commenting on the series, Gabriel Greene explained why the presentations were worth delivering:
“It can prove difficult for solicitors to find the time keep up to date with what seems like a myriad of developments within different areas of the profession. At GMcG we pooled our Tax and Forensic Accounting expertise to identify key developments that are most relevant to practising solicitors in Northern Ireland.
Using our experience and case studies, we are able provide updates with insight and analysis on some of the latest forensic accounting and taxation related developments, delivered through a series of presentations and organised with each Association”.
GMcG is currently liaising with each Association to progress plans for the roll out of the presentations from this autumn. For more information on the topics previously covered or to enquire about the upcoming series, please contact Gabriel Greene or Lyn Canning Hagan.
