GMcG is delighted to welcome on board our latest group of internship students from Ulster University.
Claire McCabe, Esther Davison, Linda Stevenson, Rory Kearney and Tara McMeel have all joined the firm from Ulster University's Accounting Pathways course. GMcG's internship programme offers students a unique opportunity to work alongside experts in each of the firm's different departments and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the workings of a leading Accountancy firm.
GMcG Director Gill Johnston manages the firm's induction programme for internship and placement students and explains:
"We are delighted to have university students on board at GMcG where we can give them the opportunity to gain a real insight into the workings of a leading, modern accountancy practice. Our management team is committed to ensuring students are involved in practical assignments and receive first class mentoring that will help them get the absolute maximum from their time with the firm.
We also feel it is important for students to have the opportunity to work across different areas of service delivery, to give them a rounded view of an accountancy firm along with specific knowledge and experience that could prove valuable when making important decisions about their future career paths".
