GMcG's sponsored silence generated a record amount of £10,775 for the firm's 2023 charity partner, Air Ambulance NI.
GMcG's male director team took part in the 24 hour challenge on 25 November - Gabriel Greene, Robbie Milliken, Nigel Moore, Stephen Houston and Paul Black. This was certainly a unique challenge and, in terms of the amount raised, it surpassed all previous years where fundraising activities were organised by the firm for local charities. The directors and staff at GMcG are hugely grateful to clients, staff and friends of the firm who donated so generously.
GMcG Director Gabriel Greene commented:
"All five of us were genuinely overwhelmed by the level of support we received. We never for one minute expected to raise anywhere near this amount and we can't thank our clients and colleagues enough who dug deep to help support such a worthy cause.
As for the activity itself, it actually was quite a challenge! More difficult than most would think! But we managed to hold firm with very few lapses during the 24 hours! I'm also pleased to report that it was quite a joyous 24 hour period for family and work colleagues, many of whom campaigned for the duration to be extended!"
