Re-launch of International Business Clinics

On Thursday 27th October, GMcG Portadown welcomed a capacity attendance for the re-launch of the International Business Clinics, hosted jointly each month by GMcG Portadown and James H Rodgers & Co Solicitors.

Catherine Dixon (JH Rodgers), Stuart McDonald (GMcG), Gill Johnston (GMcG), Adrian Farrell (President Portadown Chamber of Commerce) and Tony Nicoll (GMcG Managing Partner)

The International Business Clinics, which operate from the GMcG premises and provide an interpreter service, have proved a very successful partnership with both firms advising individuals and business owners of many nationalities on a range of accountancy and legal issues.

GMcG Portadown Associate Partner, Gill Johnston, welcomed the attendees who represented a range of different communities, as well as local businesses, the Council and Portadown Chamber of Commerce.  Stuart McDonald and Eva Mrazikova (GMcG) and Catherine Dixon (James H Rodgers & Co) also provided updates on the value and benefits of the Clinics.

This informal re-launch event was very enjoyable and included a prize draw, as well as refreshments and a buffet provided by Pani Małgorzata Rohde.  With the speeches out of the way, guests enjoyed poetry recited by two pupils from the Polish Saturday School in Portadown and were also treated to a very impressive traditional Slovakian dancing display.

Another feature of the evening was an artwork exhibition by Magdalena Rutkowska.  Magdalena is a native of Poland and has been blind since the age of six.  Her fascinating range of 3D artwork was on display across the premises for staff and guests to appreciate during the evening.
