GMcG Chartered Accountants has recently welcomed a number of new employees across the firm.

New appointments at GMcG

At management level, the firm’s recruitment has included Ruth McCormack as a manager in the Personal Tax team, along with Jeanette Hammond and Daniel Higginson who take up Assistant Manager roles in the Audit & Business Advisory department.

GMcG has also recruited two Accounting Technicians and three Trainee Chartered Accountants who have taken up positions in the firm’s Belfast and Lisburn offices.

Commenting on the new appointments, GMcG Managing Director Susan Dunlop said:

"As GMcG continues to grow, we’re delighted to be in a position to add to our service teams with a blend of management level experience, qualified Accounting Technicians and Trainee Chartered Accountants who are commencing their accountancy journey with our firm.

Ruth, Jeanette and Daniel have worked with business owners across a range of industry sectors and bring a wealth of experience to their respective teams. This is hugely beneficial to the firm as we continue to help clients with the expertise they need through challenging trading conditions and into a post-pandemic environment.

In addition to strengthening our management teams, we are pleased to have been able to invest in our newest generation of advisers through the recruitment of Trainee Chartered Accountants along with qualified Accounting Technicians. Our Trainees will benefit from expert guidance and mentoring as they progress towards Chartered certification. We wish all our new joiners every success in their new GMcG careers.”
