GMcG's 24 Hour Fast has raised an astonishing £10,959 for the firm's 2024 charity partner, The Welcome Organisation.
Employees from all three GMcG's offices completed the fast on 3-4 December to raise funds for the charity. This was certainly one of the firm's most challenging fundraising activities to date and the directors and employees were absolutely delighted with the response.
Managing Director Susan Dunlop commented:
"We have been genuinely overwhelmed with the level of support from so many clients, contacts and friends of the firm. Their donations will go a long way towards supporting The Welcome Organisation's many services for helping those across our community faced with the challenges of homelessness.
Huge thanks also to all our employees who took on this challenge, right at the start of festive season!"
This fundraising amount will be added to a number of other totals for GMcG fundraising activities that took place earlier in the year, including participation in the Antrim Coast Half Marathon and a Cavehill Trek, as well as bake sales and various other office based activities.
