GMcG Portadown teamed up with Portadown Chamber of Commerce and Retail NI’s Glyn Roberts to host a breakfast briefing event for local businesses, providing updates on tax developments and the likely impact of Rates Reform in NI.
The briefing took place on March 21st at Millennium Court Arts Centre in Portadown, where a capacity attendance of representatives from right across the business community heard presentations from senior GMcG Tax Advisors Helen Allen and Paul O’Connor, as well as Retail NI Chief Executive Glyn Roberts who provided insight on the impact of NI Rates Reform and the new Retail NI programme for Government.
GMcG Associate Partner Gill Johnston is delighted with the success of the event:
“We felt this was a great opportunity to support our Chamber and bring together expertise on key developments that are important to individuals and businesses in the community. The presentations were very well received, providing a range of tips and updates related to year-end tax planning and Budget 2017 announcements.
Rates reform is hugely significant for many local businesses and we were grateful to have had Glyn Roberts providing his insight on current proposals, challenges and likely impact on our businesses”.
