HR Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager to join our Belfast office. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for managing the HR function for all three of our offices.

HR Manager

This is a part-time position, approx. 25-30 hours per week.

Duties will include maintaining accurate and up to date records for all staff, dealing with any employee relations issues and providing support and advice to the Directors and management team.

The HR Manager will also be expected to build, develop and grow relationships with local colleges and universities in order to engage with students and raise awareness of GMcG as a training-focused organisation within the accountancy sector.

Essential Criteria:

  • CIPD Qualified         
  • Previous experience of providing generalist HR support and advising senior and middle management on employment law matters (discipline, grievance, absence, performance, etc.)
  • Significant experience of managing recruitment exercises
  • Able to work on own initiative and be fully accountable for the full HR function within GMcG
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of MS Office packages

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in an HR role within a professional services firm
  • Previous experience in liaising with colleges and universities to engage with students
